- readme files that only contain copyright info, especially when there is no directory structure in the zip file.
- Thumbnails that don't explain what the thing is..ok..mainly the text description that has the product name, and not what it's for (for those of us using Poser Vintage Edition [4, or PP], multiple runtimes may not be feasible)
- Not 'blowin yer horn' somewhere in the description (call me strange, but I don't know how many times I've used some bit 'o clothing, and have no idea whose it is..it's the only reason I sometimes don't give credit where it's due..;)
- Freebies that don't tell you who or what character something's for..if I only collected those items that work with what I own, I'd only have 100 CDs full instead of 130..;)
- a better method of organizing dependent objects, textures, morphs, etc (I wish there was a way to just have a 'Vicky' folder, and everything I need was there..instead of a 8 megabyte Access database that still doesn't always get me where I need to go
On that..is there a handy dandy tutorial that would explain, say, how to parse a CR2 or somesuch so that you could add comments, or even change the names of some things to find stuff more easily? Sorry if I'm being redundant to the folks above..but this is my list..;)
I wish I'd said that.. The Staircase Wit
