OK... some dictionaries are nice ones and don't have any terms which might be insulting. "Meep" is a conflated word, probably from from mope and weep, or maybe even "mournfully creep". It is used to describe someone hanging around despite being very unhappy. It could be used for a ghost bound to a spot, but it has the element of choice: somebody chooses deliberately to meep and make everybody else uncomfortable. "Breakfast yinnies" are set out at professional conventions and trade shows. The service is more than continental breakfast, but less than a buffet: you'll find fresh fruit and juices as well as tea and coffee and pastries, but not eggs and potatoes and meat. This means you can nibble while talking business before the meetings start, but don't require a table, flatware, linens... which drives the cost of providing food out of sight for small groups.
