LOL! It's all in fun Carolly ;) I could have called them nipples. Then someone would have said - why did you put nipples on a plushy bear? Now I can say - I didn't. They're ninnies, you ninny. I'm serious about my figures - it takes a serious amount of sweat and tears. As I said elsewhere, it's more than just scale, shape, plop, here's a figure. The amount of shaping and new geometry creating and getting the new chest UVs to match in the old pattern and all of that - I could have easily made a new figure period. But I wanted cross-compatibility where it could be done and I think others would want that too. Scarietta took almost 2 weeks of solid work. Some of that was the dress and bows, which are all poseable and the bodyhandles, er um pose pointers, which there are 4 this time. But anyways, I loved doing this figure and I'd do it again. I love the juxtaposition of sinister and cute at the same time and in fact, it's kinda cliche in horror cinema. It's flirted with anyways, in both horror and sci-fi. There was this scene in "Galaxy Quest" where the actors of a Star Trek type series are put in a situation where they have to pretend they are sci-fi heroes and save this race of aliens (in a nutshell, it's a "what if" type story)... Well, they go to get the Barillium (sp) sphere, which is the power core and there's all these cute little aliens. One of the characters is like "awww, they're so cute!" and is about to just walk up. Another character is like "Hold on, have you ever even watched the show?". So anyhoo, my creatures have odd "features", like sexy robots or knife-wielding plushy dolls. It's just imagination running wild. Some folks at Faeriewyld have made s'Care Bears, like the toy line and international bears and creepy bears, and have modeled clouds and rainbows. And that's perfectly fine with me. It may not be what I'm going to make into renders but that's their imagination at work and good on them :) I will collect them all because I cherish anything made for my stuff, which incidently, I feel is your stuff too. I strongly believe that anything released into the public takes on sort of a public ownership, so it's their bears too and they can do what they want. As long as we have no legal issues from that and the purchase license is not circumvented, mind you ;) So if you get Scarietta and want to make a cheerleader outfit for her and give her a baton to wield, that's awesome! A developer's kit is coming soon to help spring you along with bodysuit and dress mesh "templates" - that resource will be royalty free.
