Some people worry about offending their doctor, but it wouldn't hurt to seek a second opinion from another physician. This is too critical to accept one doctor's prognosis. There are so many advanced treatments these days. I used to be in Cancer Statistics as a career is how I got my nickname "Carcinogen" here. And in my experience from cancer work, I can tell you, miracles DO happen. The human will to survive FAR outweighs any chemo they can give. But I saw it all the time. People CAN beat the odds.
