As I said, I don't have any problem with nudity, but as Elminister said, using the nudity flag and avoiding nudity in thumbs is at least polite to take care of different views of people.

Nudes have been shown in art for thousands of years. The Greeks worshipped the human body and they made excellent statues. You also have to take care about the sometimes thin line between pornography and art. If I look at an artist like Egon Schiele, this depends on the point of view.

Society makes the rules (the Greeks had no problems of older man making love to young boys, which I absolutely would not tolerate), but there are a lot of different cultures and societies in the internet. A Moslem might find it even offensive to see the uncovered long hair of a woman.

So let's at least be polite and avoid too much provocation. I don't like restriction in art, because censorship is often the first step to something more oppressive. but let's give the people a chance to make a choice at what to look. The prudes have also to accept, that there are much more liberal people in this world, than they perhaps like.
