Quote from Microsoft -"Here's What You Need to Use Windows XP Home Edition (also applies to Pro version)....128 megabytes (MB) of RAM or higher recommended (64 MB minimum supported; may limit performance and some features)". As I say, I think most people would agree, once overheads are included (firewall, virus checker + other start-up apps), I really think 1gig RAM is a min. For Poser they are saying you need 64 MB min...if that was the case where would Windows get it's memory? The point I'm trying to make is, I tend to take min system requirements with a pinch of salt and tend to go with my experience of using 3d apps. All I can say is, if the problem persists after deleting the rsr file, then I am certain you will see a big performance increase in getting more RAM :) It's never a waste of money and when you start loading that heavy geometry and large textures in, you'll not regret it ;) Cheers
