I love David. I think he's superior in many ways to M3. I use M3 more than I'd really like to due to the kind of work I do (romance/erotica book covers) and the commercial poses (which I use as a starting point) available. Many times M3 is just the best choice for use, even though I don't like him that well (I always have to do a lot of postwork on Michael to make him look the way I want, partiularly in his strange musculature).
