Thanks Vilian, will have a look at the link and see if I can make any sense of it! I've learned a lot about Poser mainly thru posts here on the forum - sometimes tutorials are good, depending on how they're written, others can be somewhat confusing to those of us who are just learning. I'm attaching a pic of what I've come up with by just using the Material room.

My aspiration: to make a decent Poser Render I'm an Oldie, a goldie, but not a miracle worker :-)
