well - i've too read about this one... but it's dangerous... this "collectiong of information" for different levels... e.g. the cam they used has 16 MPixels - the resulting Pic has 0,1 MPixels... that's the amount of information you "waste" for recording the three dimensional information you need for a "post focussing"... :) but well - if technique gets further... perhaps this will one day be something usable for the "normal people"... ;)
