I have no firewall, I have no active antivirus and almost use FireFox/Mozilla or the old Netscape 4.80.
I use modified Windows 95 or Windows 98, never XP!!!!
I don't use or have installed Outlook.
I don't use active desktop with Win98 (use as Win95 style)
I almost deleted all the activeX (*.ax) from the disk.

Result. I never have problem with hackers, virus, spies and don't care about them.
I can play a Sony CD and my computer will not be hacked.
And the Windows run very fast and never crash. I can push the reset key or turn off the power switch of the computer and it will start without entering "safe mode".
Windows can be secure and fast if you modify it!
