I believe it was determined that if poser 6 was not the last poser you installed then the sr2 installer fails to install. yes, even if you tell it where poser 6 is. Ah... that could be the problem. I had to re-install Poser 4 a few months ago (which was after I installed P6). Maybe this is what confused the SR2 installer. I solved the problem myself by doing clean install on another hard drive, did content update there, did SR1 update, then SR2 update. Then copied everything over to my working location for my operational Poser 6 on other hard drive. Maybe I'me being crazy, but installing a SR shouldn't include having to re-install the application and going through all kinds of work-arounds. You should install the patch, the patch patches the application, and you're done. Anyway, this version of SR2 installed fine. It allowed me to manually find Poser 6 and installed itself. I found an issue already... though I don't think it's Poser's fault: When I added V3 and the V3 Catsuit to the scene, Poser said "The figure name is already in use. Changing to a new name". This is because DAZ was too lazy and named both figures "Figure 1" instead of "V3" and "V3Catsuit". So instead of adding them to the scene as "Figure 1" and "Figure 2", Poser thinks they're both "Figure 1" and shows an 'error' message. --John
