With you TJohn:-) I also hate locked threads (except, of course, those that are locked for reasons of contest vote deadlines). But sometimes it has to be done. In any community, there must be rules and regulations (except for anarchic ones, and I wonder how THEY get around attacks from outside fanatics; don't know, don't really care, never joined one, just wonder), and if someone strays beyond the limits, then alas, measures have to be taken. But then, that's life.. And I'll add: I get impressed with your images (and humour), wish I could do as well, but don't really lose any sleep over the fact that I can't.. (well, not yet, anyway..) Flame wars are a bad thing. But they'll always exist as long as humans have egos and decide to interpret "criticism" as meaning "You attacked me", instead of its correct meaning; and as long as humans decide to go into "war mode" as soon as they see something that slightly offends their own predjudices. Alas, this also happens in the REAL world, not just here (hence wars, with bullets and bombs and dead people...) DRAT! I didn't have a large percentage of that in my mind when I started typing.
