Hey guys me again; Listen I am having a really hard time creating shadows in bryce. I would like to create shadows on demand when I want them. Sometimes when I add a light source I get shadows, but when I want to create a shadow I just cant seem to do it. Here you see two pictures one with out shadow and one with. I cant for the life of me figure out how I got the shadow in the first one. Can anyone help me out with this? Thanks E

In the light editing lab, there in an option to turn shadows on or off in the lower left. It looks like in the left image, you are using a texture gel. Select the light, and click the "m" icon. The material lab will pop-up. Make sure that under the little options triangle, cast shadows is enabled.

Also remember that the size and shape of the shadow depends on where you put the light source. Go into top view (press "2" on the keyboard), and you can get an idea of how your lights are arranged and what directions they are pointing.

yes elliot, madmax has the reason, the position of the light take the position of the shadows, more far the light more small the shadow. excellent done, very detailed render.
