No, Carrara 1.0 was born in MetaCreation and I was there when it Metacreation was giving a birth. I heard alot of problems in the office and they decided to give up on it. :p
Eovia acquired Carrara ownership and fixed some bugs, they released Carrara 1.1 Studio.
