I never could understand the reason behind replying to comments in the galleries. I mean,...a gallery is just that...a gallery,not a forum for discussion. I know I've never re-visited an image I've commented on to see "How the discussion is going" and I know that I wouldn't be sent an e-bot saying " Someone has commented on an image that you commented on". Additionally... the ability to write novels and code in the galleries only serves to slow the site down even more. The software has to reserve a record large enough to accommodate all of that text and code, whether you reply with a lengthy novel, or just to say "Cool Pic". For EVERY Image. That's a lot of bloat for no good reason in my opinion. But after all,..it is just my opinion. Tom
