Thanks guys. Erlik, I know this is a big model. This was the "high resolution version." I also made it in medium and in low resolution versions. Sophie also tested this and she got a slightly different, but disjointed result. That gave me a clue, so I tried importing it in my copy of Bryce 5, and got three different results out of five tries. So, it definitely is an excessive something result. I suspect excessive vertices, rather than excessive polys. Marcfx, I would like to have it in *.obp format, if you haven't already done so. The model is already posted for sale in *.3ds and in Vue4 formats. I was able to get it into Vue 5 and Vue 5I as well. And I could easily load it into Poser 4, Truespace and CD4. Just not into Bryce. Strange????? (And BTW, a great guess about my using MAX.)
