Things got worse for me when I upgraded my Compaq 550 Pentium with 128MEG to same machine with new mother board, AMD Athlon 1Gig processor and 384MEG memory. Now, with the new, faster hardware, Poser 4-0-3 manages to crash the computer, rather than just freezing the program. It does this with no particular repeatable operation within the program and completely at randem. My humble opinion is that it is yet another program bug which no amount of tweaking and fine tuning of our computers will remedy. It's certainly reassuring to know that these crash problems are "rare" according to the Poser techs! Yeah right! Didn't Firestone say the same thing?
