In my opinion you could close the art acadamies. Aside from teaching the technical aspects of whatever field you are in they show stay out of the vision area. However most teachers want to shape you into clones of their selves. Their vision is the only TRUE vision and you should be honoured to accept that! been there, told them to shove it up their ego! (Part of why I now design helicopters for a living and do my art for personal enjoyment (and that of anyone else who likes it!)) Sorry for the rant.
