Once I had a terrible problem with Poser... some Poser files, downloaded from the internet made the computer hang... not at once but after a few days using these files. tried many things, then i reinstalled poser on a different partition of my harddrive and the problem whas solved. Poser is a huge programm wich is very sensitive for its environment so handle it with a bit more care then the usual software... maby... your problem could also be found in the pc itself.
