Don't take a life drawing course, you'll probably get sick of having to draw nude models all the time too. I know I did, honestly. But that was because they were all the same model. Instead of looking at wether the models have clothes or don't try taking a look at why or why they do not have clothes. On thing that people tend to forget to mention that sometimes there are reasons behind what is looked upon as senseless nudity. Some of these reasons may be, but are not limited too: 1.) Testing new textures, or poses, both of which would be difficult to get an idea of were they fully clothes. 2.) Environment: Last time I checked, if you do a bathing scene, it is difficult to wash fully clothed. 3.) Character details: New body morphs were created or were tried for the first time, and since these morphs do not affect the clothes, the only way the moprhs could be observed is without clothing. 4.) They just like it. Personally, I like drawing women more than men, which means I like to model them more, as well. It doesn't mean I won't us men, but if I don't need to, then I probably won't.
There are lots of reasons for people using nudity, for once, we have a place where we don't have to worry about reality, and that is why we have art. Were everything based so strongly on having a realistic look, art never would have had it's evolution, and we would still be back at cave paintings. If you stop to think about it, it's always been art versus everyone, and now, we even have artists versus artists. Fine Artists versus Commercial Artists has been a war long raged, and it is a foolish, stupid war. The true artists in this gallery know that they hate being told what they may and may not do, as it takes away from their expressive freedom. At the same time, they have it in their minds that they can tell other artists what to do. That is as absurd as some of the complaints about other artwork in here. Henriqueagueria is a perfect example of what I'm talking about. I hate the genre of art he does, but there is no denying that he does it EXTREMELY well. So while I can't really promote his work, he is a wonderful person, and is very talented, and I am more than willing to say that he is one of the best artists I've seen. I'm not sure I've got his name right, but you may know him anyway. Good luck on your arguement, and realize that your way is not the only way, and chances are, it may not even be the right way, as I have yet to see a "right way" for art. Next time you have a complaint, Sir Raven, think it through, and see if it's really worth mentioning. Even if the entire gallery told me to stop drawing women, I wouldn't, and I'm sure that most of the artists are like me. As a Renderosity member, and a poster of images, however, I appreciate your input ant we will see where it leads. Have a wonderful day.
