Cindy, i think regular film SLRs focus so much better. You know...it's like you're like thru binoculors or something. you can really see where your focus is it. with my digi cam, you're not actually looking thru the lens...makes it harder to tell if you're focused right...at least for me anyway. this was automatic focus, which i use most of the time. In this case, i'm the one who failed...not my cam. i've never tried DSLR before. Andreas, i just played with trying to turn this into like a painting and then a sketch. and then layered it with the original, played around with properties. Then i did more layering, and more layering. then some selective sharpening i think. hahaha! dunno. i was just being silly. :) doug, i kinda like the original too, but i wanted his face to be in focus. Arrrrggg! Yeah, that glow is distracting. Kort...thanks! :) i was just trying to have a bit of fun after seeing how i screwed my image up. i don't plan on keeping it though. richard, i gotta run out real quick...soon as we get back i'll check out that thread.
