Javil- If you have a Paint program (like Photoshop or whatever) it is very simple to just paint on top of a grey scale. To do this- create a terrain in Vue- COPY IT to the CLIP BOARD- PASTE IT into your paint program, and then select a grey color that will be your ROAD- and just paint in the road. If you use a large size terrain- like 1024x1024 or bigger- your scene will have more detail in Vue when you apply your plants, materials, etc. When finished painting in your road- copy it BACK to Vue (with the Terrain Editor open) and paste it (or load it back as a TIF file) and apply your materials. If you want tunnels, you can use a Boolean object to poke holes into your terrains... However, if you want more complex ecosystem layers you will need to create masks for each layer- (but I don't know if you have Vue 5 Infinite- so that might be going to far for you).
