Well, the thought is correct - field images have only half the Y resolution - two fields (half images) make one full image. Field 1 is scanline 1,3,5,7, ... Field 2 is 2, 4, 6, 8, ... or vice versa - this does not matter. That Infinite crashes is not ok, that it changes the ratio isn't ok either. I think i must try that to see exactly what is going on.
