Subject: Animation aspect ratio PAL format?

Did the test and it looked ok to me, even when the screenshot i have attached looks odd. But this is probably only because Quicktime can't display the fields correctly and does therefore a sort of overlay. Important for me was to see wether the ratio is changed. And obviously it is not, you see the two fields, each with the expected scanlines but the ratio looks ok. Could you maybe make a screenshot of your animation settings so that we can try exactly what you have done? Oh, and yes, the 99000 frame information pops up quickly here too. As i said, i think this is an initialisation and not an information about a rendered frame. The final animation was as expected, from frame 1 to the end. May I ask why you do field rendering? I know it makes smoother movements, but the additional work you get from that can be not too small too. As you see it now. You need a specific software that can deal correctly with the fields, you maybe even have to do a test which field is first and which is second - depends on the machine you want to record it to (minimum it was like this on the ancient machines i worked with) etc etc. I therefore render frames normally. But of course, i only do it as a hobby these days. And am happy about that.
