Totally a waste having more than 2gb with 32bit windows.
It's more about the swap disk space. When using VUE, up your swap disk space to avoid (Most of) the out of memory errors.
There are also plenty of "how to's" out there on optimizing disk cache/swap space- like having the swap file at the font of your fastest HardDisk. Just remember with VUE though, that you want PLENTY of swap space.
Also..is anyone using VUE on 64bit Windows yet?
It'll only run in 32bit emulation mode I know but, I'm curious as to whether it (64bit XP) takes advantage of the extra memory allocation available?
Cheers.
It's a shame stupidity isn't painful.
