[Unlurk] I've discontinued checking the Renderosity forums for the past two weeks (and will continue in that respect). Too long to connect, too long to get to forums, too long to see messages, and posts (probably this one too) always require that I either 'Read new messages' or similar action to actually get the page update. nickedshield - This makes little sense. The 'bottleneck' is specifically Renderosity. As I complained in the Cinema 4D forums, I can get my mail, check out all of my other regular web haunts (including several other forums) while waiting for a forum or message here to display. If this is a general bottleneck, it would affect most or at least some of the other sites being visited. But, alasses, it is only Renderosity as slow as winter molasses. Can it be that Renderosity is more likely to go through one of these two nodes than any other site? Possibly, but it still doesn't seem like the correct answer. Popularity? CGTalk is far more congested and yet I have many fewer problems. And they're basically a 'Free' forum - i.e.: not a front for a store. [Relurk]
