I would contact DAZ Tech Support. I have not experienced that problem for any product either (including the Mil Beard) I suspect it might be system related (Poser Bugs that are specific to certain settings.) It might be a good idea to contact e-frontiers support as well. You did not mention your system stats. It might be related to limits of your system. The Mil Beard is demanding to say the least!
