I gave it another try last night :

• uninstalled previous versions of Carrara (from studio 3 to the beta of 5 Pro)
• uninstalled Transposer
• restarted
• checked the registry for anything left
• restarted
• installed Carrara 5 Pro in a clean directory

And I get the same problems as reported before.

With Transposer, my character appears completely empty.
I checked position and scale - not a problem. It looks like the object just has no geometry.

With Native import, I didn't go through the whole texture import thing . I gave up after a warning of missing .obj file and the first warning of missing texture.

I guess I will have to wait for the update. For the record, I am running XP, Poser 6 SP2 and I have more RAM than I know what to do with...
