Acadia ( ) posted Thu, 22 December 2005 at 1:40 AM · edited Fri, 29 November 2024 at 7:11 AM

I want it to be "Clickable Text".

Can someone please post the code that I use to do this?

scroll down a bit from where you type your message

Caption.. this is what you want to make clicky
url put the url there..

or you can use the [A HREF="URL.com/folder/filename.html"]CLICK ME TEXT [/a]
(close that with the greater than and less than signs instead of [])

Clickety Herety PS for posting those < and > characters to get them to show up as what they look lke instead of being read as HTML you type the following characters with no spaces and the forward and reverse arrow brackets will show up in your message: & l t ; = < (Just remove the spaces between those 4 characters! & g t ; = > (Ditto the spaces)

Acadia, if you want the page to open in a new window, add target="_blank" after the link

(open)a href="url.com" target="_blank"(close)

A trick for inserting a block whole block of markup is to use a block:

This is an example Including bold markup To get < to display you need to enter <
