Subject: Shiny red .mat icon?

You should Shift+right click on one of the MAT files. What Windows do you have? In XP Pro, there's a button Advanced where you have Restore. See the pic. But it's probably because Microsoft in its infinite wisdom decided that an association claimed by their own program shouldn't be changed. And if you want, I can post detailed instructions where in Registry to change things so the association points to Bryce.
