Subject: So is poser 6 better then poser 5 more powerful?

Seems to me they got a program they tinker with until they call it an upgrade, Why not just program a new poser from scratch so you can make it faster and add the things people really want instead of keeping a dinosuar program going that they must not know a whole alot about, If they diud they would not keep useing the same program code and just make a new program that works." Why? Cos it would cost a fortune to re-engineer a program that (almost) works, from scratch. You're looking at 10-15 man-years work there (minimum), with all those programming specialists to pay. And if they did it properly, to recover the investment, they'd have to increase the price 10-fold... And then it wouldn't sell. Not at that price, to their current market, which includes a vast number of hobbyists. So they'd lose money. Nuff said.. Cheers, Diolma (Who actually LIKES P6) And Merry Xmas:-))
