I really appreciate everyone's comments and tips...I hope you all had a very fun, happy and safe New Year celebration!!
talk about dangling a carrot in front of the horse...I am at such a loss, because I can create an awesome image that I am thrilled to death with, and can render it gallery size, but not large enough to make a decent size print, like 16x20 or 18x24 (we have a large format printer)...it's like being parched, wandering in the desert and seeing a mirage of an oasis but never being able to actually reach it...that's the best way I can describe my frustration...hehe...dont get me wrong, Poser 6 is a fantastic program...up until render time...if only they would work out these bugs, I'd pay twice the amount for the program...
my system specs are: AMD Athlon XP 3000+ 2.17 GHz, 1 GB RAM, ATI Radeon X700 video card, Windows XP Home, SP2...I only have M3 & V3 in my scene, 4 lights, I'm using face-off's AO and HyperReal Skin Shaders, the clothing the figures are wearing...I am using a middle age character morph by KymJ for each of the figures...I am trying to render approx size 2700x2500 with Shadows on and Raytracing on...I do not have any props or backgrounds in my scene to this point, and still it wont render...
I'll try these suggestions and see where it gets me...THANKYOU again so much!! wishing you all only the very best in the new year...Karen

Say what you mean and mean what you say.
