Dont now whats the problem if you follow this way: First draw the desired path, then select the Path type tool and click on the path, type the text and then change the font size or path shape. If you want to move the text on the path, click on the begining of the text with the direct selection tool and drag forward or backward. Here is the example from the Illustrator :) Tihomir
