Jarrin's childhood was less then perfect. Until the age of six he lived with the old midwife who dwelled in a small cabin on the edge of town. He never knew what his relation to her was. All he knew is she worked him like a slave boy. Typically barefoot he did all the manual labor she needed. After Jarrin's 6th year of life she died, and while the towns people thought that the 'BOY' had wandered off and died in the woods somewhere he actually had the fortune to be found by a wandering knight and his pages. He was impressed by Jarrin's abilities even at the age of six, that he took him under his wing even though he did not appear to be of noble blood.
