66 years before that photography as we know it to day was pioneered with some if the first negatives being produced. I wonder what Louis-Jacques-MandDaguerre and William Henry Fox Talbot would make of it now! This would be a good link for the resource center; many of us pick up a Digital camera/DSLR without a thought as to how we got to where we are today. These people may be long gone but their dream; lives work and legacy live on.
