Subject: How do I get beautiful teeth in P6

All the renders of my smiles look quite dull because of the teeth. Does anyone know how to get the bright dazzling smile. cheerio lululee

Two things I do to spruce up a smile.. add a touch of ambiant light to the teeth.. not much, just .1 or so.. it'll be enough to brightedn the smile, without making them look like they are glowing. (Actually, in amny renders, I'll do that to the tongue, gums, and inner mouth as well.) Another good technique, is to use a spotlight aimed JUST on the mouth itself (I also will do that with eyes sometimes, one spotlight for each eye.)

yeah, teeth are hard. odf started a thread a couple months ago and posted images on his efforts to improve V3's teeth and gums, and got some good tips from face off and other experts. You might search for that one as a start. Good luck, this is definitely an area we could all improve on.

That thread was back in July, I think; do a search on "teeth" in this forum. I believe it was titled "Do these teeth look better", or it was titled along those lines.
