Dear Esther, I think Fringewood's talking about the General Preferences (command-K), where you can set the "launch to preferred state," "use external binary morph targets," etc. It's news to me, but I hate those shruggy guys. I just run all files through Maconverter 1.1.8 as a matter of course (assuming your hot G5 has Classic still available).
