Heh based on the clothes the (movie version) of the Potions Master wears, I'd say a wizard would wear anything suitable (or unsuitable.. Those billowing robes around volatile potions??? - but it sure looks goooood)

I recently saw someone speculating what happened if Snape had gotten hold of a Time Turner when he fled Hogwarts and turned himself back to the 1880, becomiing a certain detective... But I've never seen Snape play the violin, so I doubt it L
