Ive gotta say, this article has peeked my interest in a man Ive not known about until this article. I truly wish I had known about this most fascinating individual before his death in 2001. But as it often happens, we go through life missing some of the finer things. I mean this from an intellectual point.
One must imagine that the historical period in which he lived played paramount in his life. A world embroiled in turmoil (World War II) and a brilliant mind working along the social stratum of the time. I see that in the Internet, several writers have asked for others with papers this man might have written to please step forward and help write his biography.
Heres an individual that apparently has gone without social recognition of what may turn out to be the most important advance in physics since Albert Einstein and Max Karl Ernst Ludwig Planck, certainly using their two theories. I find this deeply enthralling since all three men were born in Germany and their works produced under the auspices of the Nazi Third Reich. It would seem as they say: necessity is the mother of invention and theres no greater necessity than when a nation is at war and in self-preservation mood. Mind you, it took Heim the majority of 76 years of his life to write his theory.
Perhaps I may be premature in saying this until his theory may be proved one way or another. But similar to Nikolai Tesla this man may have gone virtually unrecognized. The bigger question is, how many others? Personally I feel his theory is closer to the modern day String Theory now better known as M Theory with multiple dimensions. M Theory. Or now from Wikipedia, the "U" Theory
Thank you Gerryts!
