Jocko, I would love to see a picture of that camera if that is possible! Wow. I am impressed with what the old timers "with the stuff" were able to do. Richard's link shows an amazing image from a large camera lifted by kites. The amaziing part is using KITES to lift the camera! The wind must have been just right! I wouldn't put my camera dangled from a kite for anything! Thanks for the post. This is interesting thread. Even large view cameras bewilder me...not so much the camera as the willingness to lug it around and set up for the single shot. Tom.
