I have a Canon i9900, and I'd have to recommend it hands down. The print quality is indistinguishable from a photo, and it is very fast and very quiet (except when it barfs out the finished print -- that's a loud click) Also, it uses individual ink tanks for each color so you don't have to throw out a bunch of perfectly good ink when just one color goes dry like you do with multi-color cartridges.
