Doug, you may find these of interest: "Dream cameras are usually confined to dreams, but here's one we might be able to afford" When you hold the Nikon D200, you know you've got a very special camera in your hands. Reviewer Rod Lawton gives it 5/5 for build quality in the new issue: "The weight, the finish and the LCD quality leave you wondering how Nikon can make this camera at this price." Despite many shots needing a little work in post-production to get the most from them, its image quality is impressive. We've given it a Best Buy Award - Digital Camera Magazine. 5 Stars! Reviewer: MacGrong, Kingston upon Thames, England "I bought this camera just one month ago and I'm still testing it but I even now I can say that Nikon made one of the best cameras for semiprofesionals. It is fast, precise and absolutly well build. There is one BIG downfall: software! Picture Project - THAT IS CRUEL JOKE!!! It is slow and if You are taking pictures as RAW/NEF files You have no control at all (worst: my RawShooter it's not accepting files from D200 yet). But still: Nikon D200 it is nearly perfect camera :-)" ....and all the other reviews I've read pretty much sum up those sentiments.
