I kinda like the DSLR, because I can hear the shutter click, and it is fast to turn on.I like planes too.They're just kinda boring to take pictures of, unless you can get to an airshow. Then like mayday142 you can get some really nice aerial shots. Those smoke colours were awesome. We may be having some nice weather now, so might go out to the bird sanctuary and see if there is some owls there too. Hear they have snow owls. Where is that Jim.? You sure get an assortment there flying around. Here at lakes and in the mountains if you see them flying and are lucky enought to grab a few shots, that is a bonus.Because once they fly away, thats pretty much it for the day. Unless you can find thier nesting areas. Right now there is a ove abundance of eagles that have stuck around nearer to the city, because of all the rain, it has washed thier food down rivers. Plus they are having areial battles with owls for some of that food. Once they grab a fish and are in air, the fight begins. I need to get out there.
