Thats pretty much what we have here as well Marlene. You hardle see any falcons or eagles. Although we have crows and ravens too....and further up the road from where i live they are breeding ostriches. Poor things really seem mislocated in this artic climate. Although their loooong legs make them run pretty darn fast in the snow, lol. The only time ive seen an owl, zoos included, was on our drive to the polar circle a few months ago. And this big fella was sooooo not afraid of me. I reckon this is the only owl-shot ill ever take...and its not even a good one...siiiiigh.

How come we say 'It's colder than hell outside' when isn't it realistically always colder than hell since hell is supposed to be fire and brimstone?
