You can even get more specific with a particular post in a topic if you like. Anything after that isn't needed. With gallery links, all you really need is the GalleryID number, for example you wouldn't need the entire link below: http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=1141952&Start=1&Artist=draculaz&ByArtist=Yes only http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=1141952 if you just wanted to link to an image.
