Cool tut, Joe. When I first saw your rock piles, I would've sworn that you had a column of metaballs running up the center of it - to help "glue" the thing together and reduce any gaps that might happen in the rocks.

My rock monsters (made about a week ago) are essentially just a pile of rocks, but they have a simple metaball skeleton inside the figure to help fill any gaps that may happen between the rocks (my rocks refused to fit together as neatly as yours).
