I am trying to upload something to Freestuff and I can't and upload something to the marketplace and am very confused as to where to upload it?

I'm not sure about File Locker or the Marketplace as I haven't used them. For the Freestuff area, you can't actually upload to there. You have to place a offsite link either to the zip file or to your webpage that the free item is on. You also have to place a link to the thumbnail which will be hosted on your site. I think you can place a file in your File Locker and then a link to it in Freestuff. Someone else that uses this feature can comment on it. If you don't have a lot of bandwidth with your website, another option is to use a file hosting service such as savefile.com and use that as the offsite link.

I thought you offered free stuff all the time? File Locker you have to pay for and it's on your homepage (manage homepage) then (manage file locker... it at the top and hard to see) then upload your stuff like zips and thumbnails then go to free stuff and there's an upload choice and follow directions. If you're using off site hosting then just copy and paste the links to your thumbnails and zips in the proper areas of the upload freestuff form. http://www.myweb.com/photos/tommy.jpg http://www.myweb.com/zips/tommy.zip Or are you just having problems finding the links? I know they can be hard to see!

File locker is a paid service. If you have it, there will be a link to it in the Member Options menu. To use it for freestuff, you upload your item to it, and it wull provide a URL to use as a download link then when submitting your free item, you put that as the download URL.

Marketplace Upload forum is at the attached link. You'll need to log in to the MP side first.

Sharon if you're now a merchant here, just go to the merchant's forum and they'll be happy to answer any of your questions.

My idea of rebooting is kicking somebody in the butt twice!

Once your first Marketplace product is tested and accepted you will be given access to the merchant forum.

Yeah, after you submit that form, it will take you to a page where you upload the file.

File Locker is free unless you want to increase your space and bandwidth usage. You just go to manage homepage and then file locker at the top of your page. Its pretty easy to use once you get in there. You only check public if you want the freebie to appear on your memeber homepage.

Yes, just have to get it there. Sharen
