Sure thing. Go to the WINDOW menu, it's in between TOOLS and HELP. Click on OUTLINER on the drop down list. There are two materials there by default-"hole" and "default". Left click on the default material to select it, then right click on it and select DUPLICATE from the drop down list. Your duplicate material will be called "default2" until you rename it. Select the "default2" material and right click on it and give it the name of a part or area you want to texture seperately later on. It also helps to give your new material a color so you know that a particular face or part has been correctly assigned. It will be much easier to see. As far as a UV mapping tut- I would do a seach under UV mapping in the Wings forum. HTH Dan
