since the base V3 is free to download at daz3d I was wondering if theres any difference between the chars called v3, victoria or vicky I so often read about on every poser related site. If theres a difference(?) will poses and props work on all 3(?) the same way. its been asked a 1000 times allrady I am sure :/

Victoria 1 Victoria 2 Victoria 3 1 & 2 use the same textures, can use the same poses, sometimes the same clothing. V3 is a different critter in the same shape, lol

thou and I, my friend, can, in the most flunkey world, make, each of us, one non-flunkey, one hero, if we like: that will be two heroes to begin with. (Carlyle)

Whatever is created for V1-V2 will not work on V3 but V3 usually comes with the V3toV2 figure whose head looks like V3 and takes V3 head morphs but she takes V2 clothes and textures :) I know this might sound a bit too complicated ... Here's a pic showing both V3 and V2 (on the right), notice the differences in body and head shape and material poses. kitty5

That was very helpfull - thanks a lot!!! ...and vicky is just her "casual" name?

Most of the time when you see the name "vicky" it means V3 because she is becoming the main vicky in the market :) but it's not always this way. Many cough cough hardcore old school users still call V2 "vicky". ... now I go and hide myself from the wraith of the aforementioned ones ... ^_^ kitty5 #rendergods - where cute 3d gurus reside :)

"hardcore old school users" hey- I resemble that remark rofl Vicky is just a brand name now. Thats why most ppl just say v2 or v3. V3 is a higher poly count model with more morphs. But V2 has better morphs (at least for some body parts like breast).

Vicky 1 (or even Vicky Lo-res) are some of the original models. 2 Isotopes, Vicky-2 (deutrius), and Vicky3 (tritius), have slightly different atomic structures, and as a result have different poly electron shells, reactivity to conforming clothes, and atomic weights..;) There's talk of an eventual new isotope, Vickie 4, but the cyclotron at Daz has of yet to create a stable nucleus that lasts to a measurable time..;)

I wish I'd said that.. The Staircase Wit
