Mostly, you can zoom in on the subject, and therefore the render engine does a better job on the actual target, thus reducing the map size necessary to get equivelent resolution. On the work I've posted in this thread, I've been able to reduce the map size on lights down from 2048 or 1024 to as low as 256, thus knocking down render time. However, this has caused flicker to reemerge. I am working on that issue now. ::::: Opera :::::
